Beginner’s Needlepoint — Complimentary with purchase of a project
Learn the essentials to get you started on a first needlepoint project. We will cover the basic needlepoint stitches — basketweave, tent and continental — and how to use them. One Hour sessions.
Note: Please purchase project prior to class time.
Embellishment Class
Fee: $15 per One Hour Session.
Bring your current project or start a new one and enjoy the guidance of one of our instructors. The class will guide you to fabulous stitch and fiber combinations.
Group Project Class — Melissa Shirley six fancy birds — coming soon!
Fee: Varies depending upon project.
This is a group class where all students work on the same project. Class Fee includes the canvas, fibers, and stitch guide (finishing is not included) this is a great way to learn new stitches and more advanced needlepoint techniques.
Note: For this class we cannot offer refunds unless you cancel at least one month prior to the first class. Any missed sessions are the student’s responsibility.
Kids After School Class
Looking for something interesting for your children to do? Learning needlepoint will help your children improve coordination and comprehension skills; also it’s lots of fun! Our kid’s classes are suitable for children over 8 years of age.
Wednesday Stitch Nights — the ‘hive will be buzzing!
Beehive NeedleArts will be open on Wednesday evenings until 8pm. On Wednesday’s the Beehive will be hosting an informal stitch gathering that provides a wonderful opportunity for sharing ideas and experiences, stitching tips and fiber choices in a fun social gathering for needlepointers of all abilities.
Stitch Groups
If you have an established stitch group or a special stitching event and would like to utilize our classroom space for your group, please contact us!
If you are interested in a specific group class level or needlepoint topic, please e.mail us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We require name, phone number and payment in full in advance for all classes. We will do our best to accommodate and reschedule missed classes, but class fees will not be refunded.
Class Sign-ups
The registration for each class will be outlined with each class description. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible because space is limited and materials may need to be ordered.
Class Cancellations
If Beehive NeedleArts cancels any class — for any reason, your money will be refunded in full. Students must claim their refund within 30 days of cancellation.
In the event of inclement or dangerous weather conditions. Beehive NeedleArts will schedule a “rain-date” for the missed session. If you are unable to make the make-up we will be happy to refund you money for that session.
Waiting Lists
If a class has filled, we will happily put your name on a waiting list for that class and will notify you by phone if a space becomes available. If you do not make it off of the waiting list, with your permission we will place your name at the top of the next available session of that class.
Private Lessons
Individual Private Lessons are available for $30.00/hour
